Although at first hesitant to portray her sexuality openly in her 'Gold' vid, Ria is glad she did and one critic at the time declared it “a rare example of a music video where a lesbian relationship doesn’t exist solely for the titillation of straight men.”
The inspiration for her latest video for 'Red Lights' came from Ria herself once being dumped at a set of traffic lights. The two lovers at a crossroads in the Vid are played by real-life couple Kristen Griesbach and Bronwyn Hope.
