Conchita Martinez

Martinez was the first Spaniard to win the womens' Singles final, beating Martina Navratilova in 1994.

She was ranked No. 2 in the world in 1995 and stayed in the top 10 for 9 years, winning 33 singles titles and 13 doubles titles.

Martinez previously dated Gigi Fernandez.

Amelie Mauresmo

French Mauresmo won two Grand Slam singles titles and also a Silver Medal at the 2004 Olympics. She was ranked No.1 in the world in 1999.

 

 Mauresmo came out as a lesbian in 1999 at the Australian Open by leaping into the arms of her girlfriend, nightclub owner, Sylvia Bourdon.

 

She  announced that her success was to do with finding love and coming to terms with her sexuality.

She now has two children with her current partner.

Johanna Larsson

The 29 year old Swedish Tennis player has won 1 Singles and 8 Doubles titles on the WTA circuit and 12 Singles and 16 Doubles titles on the ITF circuit

 

In 2008, she made her Grand Slam Debut in the French Open.

 

In  2013, she made it to the Final of the Women's Singles of the French Open, where she was beaten by the No.1  seeded Serena Williams.

 

In 2015, she won the WTA's Women's Singles Final at the Swedish Open.

Larsson came out in September 2017. She has been dating golfer Amanda Strang for 2 years.

Helen Jacobs

American Jacobs won 9 Grand Slam titles and was ranked world No. 1 in 1936.

She was inducted into the National Gay and Lesbian Sports Hall of Fame in 2015.

She had relationships with Henrietta Bingham and Virginia Gurnee.

Ilana Kloss

South African Kloss was ranked No. 1 in the world in doubles  in 1976. She is the current World Team Tennis Commissioner.

She has been the partner of tennis legend Billie Jean King since  1987.
